Monza
The Monza circuit is set in a park to the north of Milan. Work began on the track in 1922 and was completed in less than six months. After Brooklands and Indianapolis it was only the third permanent race track in existence.
With a banked oval track incorporated into the design of the road racing circuit, the total track length stood at a whopping 10 kilometres. Today's circuit is a more manageable 5.79km.
Monza is considered to the Mecca of racing by motorsport fans and this makes for a unique atmosphere. With riders reaching top speeds on the super-fast track, the circuit guarantees fantastic racing.
