The Ricardo Tormo Circuit de Valencia is sponsored by the city of Valencia and was built in 2000 as a reflection of the country's love for motorcycle racing. The circuit has a capacity of 120,000 spectators, with seating for 60,000 in the grandstands and standing room on the surrounding hillsides.

The 4.005km track is made up of tight and twisty turns laid out in a very small surface area. Spectators can see almost the entire track as the riders negotiate the tight corners and the 876m straight to the finish line. This makes for a great atmosphere and very exciting racing.
